Who do I call first? READY 5 or my insurance company?

In most cases, time is of the essence, so it is recommended that you call READY 5 as soon as possible. In addition to being trained restoration experts, we are also insurance professionals with detailed knowledge of how the claims process works. Our team will be in direct contact with your insurance company throughout the entire process to make sure your claim is processed as smoothly as possible.

What type of equipment do you use?

We use only state-of-the-art, industrial-sized equipment, including portable extractors, air filtration devices, dehumidifiers and air movers.

Will I need to vacate the premises during this service?

Depending on the condition of your property, you may need to be temporarily relocated. Ultimately this decision is up to you. Safety is the ultimate priority, as well as your comfort and convenience. Lingering odors, noise from equipment and loss-of-use of facilities are all factors to be considered. Throughout the restoration process, we will have ongoing discussions with your insurance company about your relocation needs and options.

Will you repair all damage or will I need to hire a general contractor?

At this time, READY 5 does not offer reconstruction services, but we will be happy to recommend the appropriate resources for electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry or other needs.
